Time to Say Goodbye
MAKER’S QUARTER, EAST VILLAGE, SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA — After over a decade in our beloved and affectionately-named Dollhouse, the San Diego Derby Dolls will be moving on to a new playground. East Village is a bright and beautiful up-and-coming neighborhood that we have been so proud to be an integral part of, but we feel that it is time for us to move on. Current plans to secure a new facility are already in motion, and we would love to keep you all informed on this journey. Please sign up for our newsletter to be the first to receive updates on our move!
Here are a few words from the San Diego Derby Dolls general manager, Isabelle Ringer: “The Dollhouse has been a beacon of light to so many in the roller derby community worldwide. A facility that is second to none. We are proud of what we built here – but don’t worry, a building is only a box. We will take all the power and strength that we have built within these walls and bring it to our new home. And this place won’t just be a lighthouse… it will be the SUN.”
