Derby United is happy to expand its offerings beyond roller derby to include recreational roller skating here in San Diego, California.  Public skating sessions, instructed classes, roller skating birthday parties and private events are all offered on our smooth outdoor skating rink.  Reservations strongly recommended for all open session skating and classes but are not required.

RATES

Public Skate Sessions – $15 per public skate session. These skating sessions are open to the public, do not include an instructor and consists of open roller skating on the rink.  These sessions are open to participants of all skill level and includes a quad skate rental at no additional cost or bring your own quads or inlines from home.  Every open skate session always has music.  Consult the schedule for the music genre and age group (All Ages or Adult 18+) of each session. Discounted when you buy multiple: 3 Admissions: $36 ($13/session), 5 Admissions: $60 ($12/session).  These may not be shared across members.  These multi-packs are for one person only. 

Instructed Classes – $20 per instructed class.  These one-hour instructed class will always have a teacher on our amplified sound leading the class. A skate rental is included at no additional cost or bring your own from home. Discounted when you buy multiple: 3 Punch Card: $55 ($18/class), 5 Punch Card: $85 ($17/class).

RENTALS

Quad skate rentals are included with any reservation at no additional charge.  Skates available from Toddler Size 9 to Mens 15. Guests are welcome to bring their own inlines or quad skates from home. Safety gear cannot be provided by the facility at this time and is not required.  It is highly recommended that all beginner skaters bring safety gear from home.  Recommend safety gear from home for recreational skating may included helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards.

PUNCH CARDS

Your punch card purchase is a token to attend a class or session.  Once you have made a reservation that, token has been used. Punch card are good for 6 months from purchase and are non-refundable. All participants require a Punch Card to enroll for programs at our roller skating facility in San Diego, CA. A punch card is good for one single member and may not be shared with multiple skaters. Class and Session packages range from one to five punches and are discounted when you purchase a larger punch card.

Once enrolled, members may use the Zen Planner Mobile App for all future punch card purchases.  When participants have an active punch card on file, they may view and reserve the weekly schedule of offerings for that program from their mobile device. In order to view a specific category, you must have a punch card on file for reservations. You can always view all of our offerings on our online schedule.

Head over to the schedule and make a reservation.  Regular classes and sessions may be reserved up to 7 days in advance.  Participants may register for Special Events as soon as they appear on the calendar.  Special Events will not appear on the mobile app, head to the direct calendar link.  All reservations take place at our outdoor roller skating facility at 6060 Federal Blvd San Diego, CA 92114.
